Sweetener SubstitutionsI always recommend maple syrup for sweetener in drinks, but if you don’t like it or don’t have any on hand, I recommend using agave. Alternatively, dissolve cane sugar in ½ cup of hot water and use that.Storage TipsAny leftover beet lemonade can be stored in an airtight glass container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Lemon juice can settle, so give it a quick stir before serving.
