Roasted Sweet Potato Fries

Indulge in the irresistible taste and comforting warmth of roasted sweet potato fries. These oven-baked fries combine the natural sweetness of sweet potatoes with a delightful mix of spices and herbs, offering a healthy yet indulgent treat.

Ingredients 
 

  • 3 medium sweet potatoes, (about 2lbs or 900g), sliced into fries
  • 1 tablespoon arrowroot powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon fine salt
  • 2 tablespoons avocado oil

Instructions 

  • Preheat oven to 425°F/220°C. 
  • Wash sweet potatoes well and pat dry.
  • Slice into even-sized French fries and add to a large bowl. 
  • Sprinkle spices and herbs over fries and drizzle oil on top. Toss thoroughly. 
  • Spread on a baking sheet and cook for 15-20 minutes. Flip fries and bake for another 15-20 minutes until tender and browning starts to occur. 
  • Remove from oven and serve with flake salt or dip of choice.
