Total Time 5 minutes
If you love pumpkin recipes, make this creamy pumpkin oatmeal for your next breakfast. All those fall flavors come together anytime you want them, whether it’s pumpkin season and you want to pair it with your pumpkin pie spice latte or just want a great way to start your weekday morning.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup of old-fashioned oats
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
  • ¼ cup pumpkin purée
  • ½ cup of oat milk

Instructions

  • Microwave the oat milk for 45-60 seconds (until hot). (Alternatively, heat the milk on the stovetop in a saucepan until it just starts to simmer.)
  • Add old-fashioned oats, maple syrup, salt, spices, and pumpkin into a bowl and pour the hot milk over the top.
  • Let this sit until the oats have soaked up most of the liquid, which takes about 5 minutes.
  • Stir oatmeal and add your favorite toppings.
