- ½ cup of old-fashioned oats
- 1 teaspoon maple syrup
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
- ¼ cup pumpkin purée
- ½ cup of oat milk
Microwave the oat milk for 45-60 seconds (until hot). (Alternatively, heat the milk on the stovetop in a saucepan until it just starts to simmer.)
Add old-fashioned oats, maple syrup, salt, spices, and pumpkin into a bowl and pour the hot milk over the top.
Let this sit until the oats have soaked up most of the liquid, which takes about 5 minutes.
Stir oatmeal and add your favorite toppings.
