How To Freeze Peaches

Whether you love them in peach pie, peach smoothies, or your other favorite peach recipes.

Knowing how to freeze peaches means you’ll have access to these fruits at their prime rather than settling for out-of-season peaches to get your fix!

This step-by-step tutorial includes simple steps that will result in tasty peaches you can enjoy any time of the year with the best flavor!

1. Wash the four ripe peaches. 2. Cut the peaches into slices. 3. Add sliced peaches to a medium bowl (or large bowl).

4. Pour four cups of water and the juice from one lemon (~2 tablespoons of lemon juice) over the peaches. 5. Soak the peaches for about 5 minutes.

6. Drain the peaches using a large colander.  7. Spread the peach slices out on a parchment-lined baking sheet.  8. Place the baking sheet in the freezer for 4 hours (or longer).

9. Transfer the frozen peaches to a silicone freezer bag or another freezer-safe container. A quart-size freezer container should be large enough.
