My wife has an aversion to plastic containers, I hate searching for lids. The Super Terrines are now our goto for leftover storage and refrigerator pickling. I am quite confident we will be purchasing more in every available size

Save money, save the planet!

When I was 32 years old I bought 6 Le Parfait Super Terrines 750ml size (25oz). I'm 39 years old now and when I think about all the money I've saved not rebuying cheap Tupperware and all the plastic I've avoided in my life it makes me very happy. I only had to buy new gaskets once in their lifetime to ensure a tight seal. I used these to pack my lunches for work and store leftovers in my fridge, so I was using them very regularly. The 750s were the perfect size for one meal servings for an active hungry person like myself. I loved having the spring steel closures with thick rubber gasket. I could throw soup in my bag and ride my bike to work and not worry about spillage. After 7 years of heavy use I am finally having to replace some of my Super-Ts due to normal wear and tear and a few that my co-workers broke. Think about that-- 7 YEARS. The best part is, the glass is 100% recyclable and the spring steel is still usable. I don't recommend these for long term storage as the spring steel applies strong closing pressure and I especially do not recommend for microwave use, but for everything else, they outperformed anything I've ever used, that's why I'm coming back for more. My only regret is waiting 7 years to write a review singing the praises of this wonderful product! I will use this quality product for the rest of my life.

love the quality, ease of cleaning, and size. Good quality. The terrine is perfect for my sourdough starter too.

Secure lids and great techniques

Love the fact that the lids are secure …. No problem with dented lids … the rubber gaskets make all the difference…. Well worth the investment

If using the jars for daily storage use, we recommend occasionally rotating the wire ring while holding the glass jar and lid stationary. This will help to release any crumbs or debris caught under the wire and avoid clamping pressure being placed repeatedly on the same area of the glass rim.

Le Parfait Super jars and terrines should always be used with a Le Parfait Super rubber seal, even when the jar or terrine is used for pantry storage. Persistent opening and closing of the wire hinge could cause damage. Please consider the Le Parfait COLOR LID product line with screw-top caps as an alternative for pantry storage.
